This is My Life in Sitcoms, a newsletter about interrogating the UK sitcoms that have defined each year of the 21st century so far.

TV sitcoms have always been a love of mine, and I just so happened to have been born in the year 2000. So I decided to combine these two things and take myself (and hopefully all of you) on a journey through the 21st century, looking particularly at a British sitcom that started in each year, from 2000 all the way up to 2022. I want to try and identify trends between my selected shows, and to look at whether these shows have stood the test of time.

Plus, I will make sure to return to the present and keep you updated with all the new and returning sitcoms airing each fortnight!
